Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to develop your ability
to organize and evaluate scholarly sources through the creation of
an annotated bibliography, enhancing your critical thinking and
understanding of the literature in your INTG concentrations. By
identifying and annotating six peer-reviewed sources, you will
build a solid foundation for your research problem and support
your academic success.
Instructions: Creating an annotated bibliography fosters critical
thinking, enhances your understanding of the literature, and
builds a solid foundation for your research. This assignment will
develop essential research skills and support your academic
success.
Use the ACU Online Library (linked in the course navigation
menu) to identify six sources; three in each of your INTG
concentrations. For example, if your concentrations are
psychology and marketing, you should have three scholarly
sources from psychology, and three from marketing, for a total of
six sources. These must be in peer-reviewed scholarly journals.
Then, you’ll compile an annotated bibliography as an academic
tool that helps you organize and evaluate sources related to your
research question. Your bibliography will include citations and
brief annotations that summarize the content, assess credibility,
and reflect on each source’s usefulness.
Assignment Specifications:
• Introduction:
• A short paragraph describing your research problem. Be
sure to incorporate any feedback you have received from
your instructor.
• For each source:
• Complete reference citation in APA format for each
analysis
• Three Part Analysis (150-200 words)|
• A summary paragraph
• An analysis paragraph|
• An application paragraph
• 5-7 pages in length
• Double-spaced, 12-point font
