Purpose

This assignment will help student address the practicum practice change problem area by determining the institution’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats via a SWOT analysis. Furthermore, to complete the assignment, student will make plans to address the practicum issue through team collaboration and plan the creation of the operational objectives, goals and specific strategies required to achieve the strategic outcome based on the SWOT analysis result.

 This assignment aim to help DNP-students achieve role-specific competencies based from the Nurse Executive Competencies delineated by the American Organization for Nursing Leadership Organization including communication, knowledge, leadership. Professionalism, and business skills.

Based on the results of your SWOT analysis, elaborate on your plan to create operational objectives, goals, and specific strategies to address the issues selected for your DNP Practicum practice change project.
